Congratulations to our New Vice Presidents!


We would like to congratulate the newest Vice Presidents of HBC. Learn more about each of the VPs here. 


Prior to joining HBC, Chris Carr served as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, and Vice President at several of our most reputable and toughest competitors across a career spanning more than 40 years. Chris has a wealth of operational knowledge and project experience, a larger-than-life reputation with clients across our market, and is a great mentor among our teams.


After nearly 35 years of industry experience, ranging from Estimator and Superintendent to Project Executive on ground-up and interior projects alike, Dave became an immediate leader and difference maker at HBC. When he joined in 2015, he brought significant clients like Capital Group, Ernst Young, and City National Bank into the fold. Dave has been a conscientious contributor to client service, project excellence, staff development, and organizational growth since the beginning.


As a graduate of the prestigious Naval Academy at Annapolis and a former officer in the US Marine Corps, Adam has been a natural fit and even-handed leader focused on mentorship and development since he got here nearly 20 years ago. He’s worked in each of our offices, leaving a trail of project successes and personnel promotions behind him. This includes his most recent efforts with NFL Los Angeles, one of HBC’s largest and most prestigious projects ever.


Steve has built a career over more than two decades, spanning project leadership on both the general contractor’s and the owner’s side. This client-owner perspective, alongside an exacting attention to detail, is one of the things that draws significant clients to Steve. It has also brought him success here with notable projects such as Viacom and Warner Music Group on his way to an executive role. As a Project Executive, Steve’s expanded influence across other teams and more clients helped HBC stay strong against this very competitive period in the market.


After 12 years in the industry, Mike came to us as a Superintendent in 2004. Since then, he’s pushed himself to build expertise in business and sustainable development through three graduate degrees and hundreds of projects ranging from Live Nation to Smashbox. Mike knows our people through years of experience across multiple roles. He stepped in to develop our HR Department where he continued to push himself and HBC on several fronts, ranging from talent retention and pay equity to employee development, while building vendor relationships to seize control of some of our largest expenditures.
