HBC recently participated in CBRE’s 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Strawberry Farms Golf Club, benefiting the JDRF Los Angeles Chapter. The tournament raised over $200,000 for JDRF, whose mission is to improve lives and cure type 1 diabetes. On September 28th, the same day as the tournament, JDRF and the type 1 diabetes community announced and celebrated a major historical breakthrough: the success and FDA approval of the artificial pancreas, which will bring life-changing benefits to people with Type 1 Diabetes. JDRF has invested more than $116 million in diverse artificial pancreas research projects, and we were proud to support this groundbreaking organization.
