HBC was named one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in both Los Angeles and Orange County! The awards program was created in 2009 and is a collaborative project of the Orange County Business Journal, Los Angeles Business Journal, and Best Companies Group.
To be eligible, companies from Los Angeles and Orange County apply to be considered for the two-part evaluation process. The first part consists of an in-depth questionnaire submitted by the employer and the second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. In total, the process evaluates and scores the companies in categories such as:
- Hiring & employment practices
- Employee benefits
- Work-life balance
- Demographics
- Training & professional development
- Corporate culture
- Employee satisfaction
The combined scores determine the top organizations and their final rankings, and HBC is thrilled to have been nominated in both counties.
