Project Description
This California-based law firm relocated their headquarters to a 70,000 square foot space at The Boardwalk in Irvine. Starting at the reception area, leather wall panels, wood slat ceilings, and wood flooring emphasizes a feeling of sophistication that is just as warm as it is rugged. The nearby café, which bridges two separate buildings, offers similar features plus custom booth seating, inset millwork, and two large vertical folding doors. A conference center is accessible via a sliding door system with leather pulls; once accessed, employees are greeted by custom banquettes, TV niches, and fabric wall panels. Custom millwork cabinets and doors permeate throughout several break areas, in addition to stone countertops and tile backsplashes. Specialty glass lights provide a visual guide to the perimeters between the offices. The scope of this project also included an MDF, two IDFs, and a secure egress in the elevator lobby.
