Project Description

This internationally-inspired project was designed to promote Japanese art, culture, and cuisine in the heart of Los Angeles. Spanning two floors of the Hollywood & Highland complex, amenities include a 6,000 square foot retail space and a 1,200 square foot restaurant. Inset shelving and minimalist product displays incorporate subtle sophistication throughout the retail space. A golden-hued salon provides the versatility to host a wide array of events, while the nearby library boasts a similarly subdued, natural aesthetic. In contrast, the restaurant features deep, lush details, including plush booth seating, dark woodgrain tables, and an extensive ivy wall.
