Hoag Tustin Legacy
This 60,000 sq. ft., three-story healthcare facility features state-of-the-art imaging, specialized orthopedic and urgent care services, and collaborative spaces for seamless, patient-centered care.
This 60,000 square foot, three-story tenant improvement project required strategic planning, as it was completed concurrently with the shell and core construction. The first floor, comprised of expansive glass windows and striking pendant lighting, includes a shared waiting room, blood draw lab, and urgent care center. A state-of-the-art imaging center allows for x-ray, ultrasound, and DEXA imaging capabilities, along with a cutting-edge MRI and CT suite. A fully-equipped physical therapy suite rounds out the rest of the first floor. Along with complying to OSHPD 3 standards, this floor carefully balances aesthetics and function to promote a collaborative healthcare environment. The second floor endorses the best balance of space by providing a central location for pediatric, family, and internal medicine. Waiting areas within the pediatric area are divided into sick and well waiting rooms, and multiple team “huddle” areas throughout provide ample space for medical teams to collaborate. On the top floor, the Hoag Orthopedic Institute provides specialized orthopedic services directly across from the internal medicine department. Through the dynamic design of all three floors, each ancillary service contributes to providing overall accessible healthcare.
