Project Description

As part of a larger open campus, this 8,000 square foot café was crafted from the original frame to seamlessly blend into the overarching relaxed Southern California vibe. Interior greenery pops against the subdued hues of concrete tile and exposed concrete floor, and wooden shelving reinforces the clean and simple aesthetic. A vaulted ceiling boasts exposed beams and tongue-and-groove planks. The small footprint is maximized with a rounded barista counter tucked into one side of the building, complete with quartz countertops and epoxy flooring. A combination of expansive windows and stained-glass details provide gorgeous views of the surrounding campus while filling the café with natural light. Additional seating is offered outside in an enclosed outdoor patio, complete with picnic-style seating and a firepit.
