The project scope consisted of a complete demolition and rebuild of the 70,000 square foot hybrid office and laboratory space. A complex MEP infrastructure was added to the design to support the client’s electronics operations, including an extensive overhead electrical & plumbing distribution to testing equipment and lab stations. Process chilled water piping was added throughout, fed by two redundant 60-ton chillers. A new steel framed mezzanine was constructed to aid in expansion for the existing second floor office space. Other components of the project included new commercial grade roll-up doors, restrooms with showers, and a warehouse area with forklift bays and high-pile storage racking with integrated fire suppression. The parking lot was upgraded to provide the employees with ADA accessibility and EV car chargers.
