56,000 Square Feet

Project Description
A newly constructed 56,000 square foot building was adapted for Tencent, a leading global technology company which connects people through innovative digital and social platforms. A seamless combination of private and open offices is spaced across three floors. Nearby, meeting rooms, phone rooms, and a boardroom supply ample space for impromptu huddles or formal meetings. Tech spaces, recording rooms, edit suites, and a writer’s room positions its Los Angeles location for maximal creative and content development. Dedicated UX and research labs allow products to be tested and refined under the same roof. To support the technical weight of the high-end equipment, a new server room, intermediate distribution frame, and main distribution frame were added. A nearby café, complete with custom baffle ceilings and banquette seating, opens to a training room. The exterior scope included a steel canopy, an ADA-compliant wood ramp, storefront glazing double doors, and roll up garage doors.
