Project Description

This 23,000 square foot project entailed a unique mixture of office and media production space. Intricate structural upgrades, such as steel strengthening and wood joists from the floor above, were required to eliminate interference from the tenant below. Furthermore, the floors of the large motion capture room and audio rooms were acoustically raised and isolated within a double-wall box configuration. Acoustically rated sound doors and fabric panels were embedded into the edit spaces to capture the full experience of the custom acoustic AV and speaker design. The motion capture filming room was equipped with acoustic treatments and a truss filming system. In addition to the new server room with a FM 200 fire suppression system, dedicated HVAC, power, and data were acoustically treated and placed in whisper pods. State-of-the-art video conferencing technology was installed in the large conference and executive meeting rooms. The reception area features wood ceilings and wall paneling with integrated branding signage and TV displays to welcome guests and employees alike. The security system was upgraded with new cameras, card readers, and motion sensors throughout.
