Project Description

This 5,000 square foot acute care rehabilitation expansion was completed within a fully operational medical facility, requiring multiple phases and stringent coordination. Structural upgrades included FRP structural reinforcement at key points. ADA-compliant patient rooms, dialysis areas, nurse stations, medication wards, and clean and soiled linen rooms were added to the floorplan. The project scope required med-gas installation as well as infection control within occupied spaces and satisfied the requirements for OSHPD 1 classification.
