Project Description

Ceradyne is a global manufacturing company that specializes in advanced ceramic technology and components. Howard Building Corporation provided services for the complete renovation and build out of their Costa Mesa location. The project encompasses 140,000 square feet in three separate facilities that house the company's administration, research and development, and manufacturing groups.

The program for the project includes upgrades to existing office spaces, meeting rooms, training rooms and restrooms, as well as existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing throughout the facility. New restrooms, offices, and training and meeting rooms were added along with break rooms, kitchens, and locker rooms with showers.

R&D and manufacturing scope includes testing laboratories, manufacturing bays, new warehouse and shipping area with expanded storage capacity, a new 300 square foot freezer, new production lines, and new autoclave, clarifier and LN2 areas.
