Project Description
The vantage point from BMG Music’s 30,000 square foot headquarters offers unparalleled views of historic Wilshire Boulevard and beyond. To tie together two floors into a cohesive, modern experience, part of the 15th floor was punched out and replaced with an interconnecting staircase. The inventive staircase, consisting of bronze woven wire cables, wood treads, and glass risers, culminates at an elegant stone platform and is set against the backdrop of a two-story media wall. A vivid mural provides a stark contrast against sleek and linear office areas, including private offices, conference rooms, executive boardrooms, phone rooms, and a wellness room. Four acoustical rooms, including two listening rooms, a vocal room, and a studio room, are installed above an isolation floor. The space is also equipped with a full coffee bar and pantry, along with open seating and private booths. A unique millwork package, custom reception desk, and complex acoustical system instill the space with elevated creativity, reflecting the music company’s youthful and reputable image.
