HBC was recently named as one of the “Best Places to Work” in both Los Angeles and Orange County. The annual awards program was created by the Los Angeles Business Journal, Orange County Business Journal, and Workforce Research Group.
Companies from across the two counties entered the employer assessment process to determine if they were considered one of the Best Places to Work. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's benefits, policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Workforce Research Group managed the overall registration and survey process in both Los Angeles and Orange County, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
Out of the 100 nominated companies, HBC was selected as the fourth best medium company to work for in Los Angeles.
Out of the 39 nominated companies, HBC was selected as the twelfth best medium company to work for in Orange County.
