We are looking for an Marketing Coordinator to join our team in the Orange County, CA working directly with the Marketing and Technology Director and the Executives. Sensitivity to confidential matters may also be required.

  • Must have strong computer skills, including the creative programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Input and manage data in the internal database (CRM) and reviews for accuracy.
  • Manage the company website as well as social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Produce and edit marketing materials (RFP's, brochures, etc.),
  • Edit, proofread and create resumes
  • Coordinate photoshoots 
  • Design and distribute internal monthly newsletter
  • Photo editing for website and social media
  • Manage staff directory and photos
  • Write descriptions for new projects
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or its equivalent

2+ years of related experience

Computer literacy: proficient in Microsoft Office products -Excel, Word, PowerPoints, Outlook. (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a HUGE PLUS).

Project Manager

We are looking for seasoned Project Managers with minimum 5 years of experience in the Tenant/Interior Improvement industry.  We have a culture of excellence, and we seek individuals who are personally motivated to achieve exceptional results.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the conduct of all assigned projects.  He or she has responsibility for and control of all subcontracts, purchases, scheduling, accounting, specifications, quality control, personnel, public relations, communications and billing procedures to properly, fully, and professionally represent HBC and ensure the smooth completion of every project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain positive and confident relationships with owners and owners’ representatives, as well as architects, designers, consultants and subcontractors. 
  • Establish and maintain clear communication between all project team members. 
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism, cooperation, organization, knowledge and control of projects to appropriately represent HBC.
  • Estimate construction budgets and review/prepare bid packages. 
  • Prepare and maintain schedules with the assistance of the project superintendent and coordinate scope of work for all trades. 
  • Provide weekly updates to all team members regarding schedule maintenance.
  • Prepare and execute owner and subcontract labor contracts and preliminary lien notices. 
  • Prepare accounting worksheets associated with all costs.
  • Issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Manage and document all change orders,
  • Keep and promptly transcribe all meeting minutes to be distributed to all team members.
  • Manage all submissions and inspections required by governing agencies.
  • Regularly visit project sites to monitor and discuss status of projects with the superintendents.
  • Monitor the performance of the project superintendents and ensure the highest industry standards are met by all subcontracted trades. 
  • Provide proper on-site documents for superintendents including, but not limited to, subcontracts, purchase orders, plans and specifications, change orders, bulletins, OSHA reports, etc.
  • Ensure that accurate and complete plans and specifications are issued to all subcontractors and document any omissions or inaccuracies.
  • Monitor keeping of as-builts, submittals and manuals, in conjunction with the superintendent, and ensure all records are transmitted to the owner upon completion of project.
  • Ensure accounting for all projects is accurate and complete and maintain accurate and timely reporting to the accounting department.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project. LEED accreditation preferred. Ability to read plans and specifications is mandatory. Prior experience as a Project Manager or similar position, along with coursework in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Superintendent

HBC is always looking for talented individuals, individuals who manage their projects by anticipation, rather than reaction, and who plan the work rather than letting it take its own course.  We are looking for Superintendents who are not willing to sit back and wait for others to perform, but rather ones who step up, initiate control, and take the extra steps necessary for a successful project completed on time with the highest quality standards.

Minimum qualities we seek in our superintendent candidates are:

·  Motivated self-starter.

·  Minimum 5 years of experience in Class A commercial tenant improvement. Legal space and/or High Tech space preferred.

·  Good communication skills.

·  Must present well to clients and be able to gain trust through the working relationship.

·  Ability to identify conflicts in a timely, proactive manner and be able to present solutions and workarounds for those problems.

Responsibilities include:

·  Maintenance of the project schedule.

·  Maintenance of Daily Logs.

·  Maintenance of quality control.

·  Coordination of trades.

·  Interpretation of plans.

·  Maintenance of safe conditions.

·  Insure conformance to building codes.
