Beginning her career with medical tenant improvements in New York, Niki approaches each new project with the desire to understand the needs of others and align them with the parameters of the project. Her favorite project was the most challenging, and that hospital modernization fueled her passion to grow within the industry and take on larger and more complex challenges. She hopes to continue to hone her skillset in building, managing, and developing projects while enjoying the interpersonal connections that are developed over the course of a project. To her, these connections are what makes her role interesting, exciting, and most of all, fulfilling.
HBC is a family at the core. I saw this first during the interview process and it was ultimately the deciding factor. When people are honored, valued, and empowered, their passion and skill is reflected most clearly in their work. HBC lives this, not just in how they treat their employees, but how they develop them. The company serves their employees and their employees, in turn, serve the company. This mindset makes them the best at what they do. Skillsets can be taught. Mindsets must be caught.
