42,451 square foot improvement for WCU’s newest addition of higher learning. The majority of the space includes classrooms, fully functional science labs, offices for admin and directors, faculty break rooms, student break rooms, a campus library and an open quad area. The quad on the first floor has an open ceiling with expansive millwork benches, bleachers, and internet bars all finished with bamboo. The front lobby features a stained concrete entry way, a bamboo clad reception desk clad, a water feature and bamboo pier inviting students and visitors into the tropical oasis themed campus. Considerable upgrades were made to the FLS system as well as the HVAC system to accommodate the new occupancy of the building. The project was completed in 14 weeks.
