Project Description

A 49,000 square foot project comprised of three floors in a Class “A” Century City office building for an international law firm.  The extensive buildout required significant rework and upgrades to existing HVAC systems to accommodate design.  Project highlights included new elevator lobby finishes inclusive of wood and metal wall paneling, a backlit steel company logo sign, and a large concierge area featuring full-height walnut wall paneling and a distinctly unique reception desk composed of Corian stone and cove lighting.  The highly polished concrete floors run throughout the space and join the concierge area to the conference center and private office spaces.

Above, floating hard lid soffits run along the perimeter and above the hallways housing a combination of custom recessed linear light fixtures and cantilevered pendant lights.  Muraflex Fino glass and metal office fronts are utilized throughout the space and incorporated both pivot and sliding doors.  Other finish accents included red glass panel displays, glass backsplashes, and a combination of both modern and industrial finishes.  A new stair connects the 5th and 6th floors and is comprised of walnut wood wall paneling and stair treads accented by stainless steel railings, and a glass guardrail.  The main conference rooms feature PK-30 glass and metal door and window systems, while the large multi-purpose center is highlighted by a 50’ long full-height glass collapsible partition that can be completely folded away to connect the adjacent concierge area.
