Brookfield unveiled the results of their design competition, DesignHive, to the downtown Los Angeles area on (date) with an open house event that engaged the design and commercial real estate communities with new concepts for spec suite design. Meant to set the standard for a new generation of modernized workplace environments in downtown, Brookfield has dedicated two locations, one in The Gas Company Tower and one in the Wells Fargo Center, to examine how the expectations of the Millennial and Gen Z workers entering the market are redefining the workplace.
Architectural firms Gensler, IA, Rottet Studio, SAA, Unispace and Wolcott participated in the design of six separate spaces, three in The Gas Company Tower and three in the Wells Fargo Center. Each 3,500 – 4,500 square foot space was dedicated to a specific industry, including legal, fashion, media, and tech, with design features suitable to the specific needs of each. HBC partnered with Rottet, Unispace, and Wolcott to build the three spaces located in The Gas Company Tower.
