The Focus Diagnostics build-out totaled 91,000 square feet, of which 30,000 square feet is office space, 50,000 square feet is laboratory and manufacturing space, and 10,000 square feet is warehouse and shipping area. The first phase of construction included office space, restrooms, a large IT room, a break room, training rooms, reception area, several new conference rooms, perimeter offices, including all new lighting, flooring, finishes, and systems furniture.

The second phase entailed reconfiguring an empty warehouse area into a medical lab/manufacturing environment. All new systems were installed to support the lab and manufacturing operations including a new DI water system, compressed air system, nitrogen system, argon gas system, IT system, and electric system with a new 550 meg generator and enclosure. A UPS system, BSL1&2 labs, 3 large walk in freezer boxes with 24 hour temperature controls, positive and negative air controlled rooms, and new mechanical units with new roof platforms and structural upgrades were also included in the scope.
